Jamal Shah
Jamal Shah is one of the big names in art scene of Pakistan. He was born in 1956 in Quetta, Baluchistan. He is a well known actor, director, painter and social activist. He is one of those people who tried to promote art and artist in Baluchistan. He managed to build arts department in Baluchistan University and headed it for three years. He also formed Artist Association of Baluchistan. He was this association’s first chairman. Jamal shah played numerous roles not only in PTV but Hollywood too. He was starred in K2 a film by Frank Rodam. In his upcoming projects drama Traffik is one of the most waited one. Currently he is the chairman of Hunarkada art institution at Islamabad. He has big role in promoting art in Pakistan. Baluchistan is proud of his talented son.
Late Hasam Qazi
The handsome man from Quetta was a talented, sophisticated and blessed actor. He came, he saw and he conquered is the most appropriate line to describe his achievements. Hasam Qazi was born in 1961 in Quetta, Baluchistan. The immortal actor Hasam Qazi started his acting career from Quetta PTV center, his drama serial was Khali hath. After that he acted in Kazim Pasha’s Chaoon and then he never looked back. He played the role of a land lord who felt in love with village Girl, yes the ever green Marvi. Marvi Play made him unforgettable in Pakistani Show biz scene. His dramas Des Pardes, Mathi ki Morat and emergency ward, Dard Kay Rishtay are the ones in which his performance was highly appreciated. He is also PTV award winner for best actor. He is no more but he is still alive in hearts of his fans.
Abid Ali
Abid Ali is another legendry actor, writer and producer from Baluchistan. He was born in Quetta in 1952.He started his career as doing job in Radio Pakistan since he owns a very fine male voice. Later on he moved to Lahore and thought to test his luck in acting. After few attempts he was noticed and offered numerous roles which at the end converted him in to versatile actor. He is currently doing Masi Aur Malika,Tum Ho K Chup from Geo TV. His other noticed works are Waris, Mehndi, Morrat, Buri Aurat and Dosra Asman. He has done couple of good movies too, some of them are Khak Aur Khoon, Betab, Gharibon Ka Badshah and Sahiba. His daughter Iman Ali is also a well known actress and model.
Ayub Khosa
Ayub Khosa is country’s versatile actor. He has played dynamic roles in numerous dramas which were telecasted from Pakistani Channels. Ayub Khosa Started his career as actor from his school days. He started performing in the dramas by Quetta PTV center. Later on his performing skills are recognized and he was offered many roles from other Tv centers. Currently he is working for Sindhi channel KTN. Ayub Khosa is a Balochi talented man. He is fluent in all languages of Baluchistan namely Pashtoo, Baravi and Urdu.
Ayub khosa is an actor who earned PTV national award for best actor very soon. Politically he is associated with Pakistan People’s Party and represents the party from Jacobabad.
Mahnoor Baloch
Mahnoor Baloch is referred as the “Princess of Pakistan”. This beautiful actress was born in 1970.She was married at age of 16.She started her acting career at the age of 20.She has worked in many drama serials which became a hit. Lamhay, Kabhi Kabhi Piyar mein, Marvi, Ladies Park, Chandini Ratein and Silla are her noted work. Currently she is doing Mohabat Roth Jaye Tu from Hum TV. She has won many awards upon her performances. She is termed as the evergreen star of showbiz industry of Pakistan. Mahnoor Baloch is beautiful and playing her due role being the most experienced and versatile actress.
