Word chiffon is derived from the French word for a cloth or rag. It is made from cotton, silk and synthetic fibers. It has a signature style of softness and is very soft, see through and light. The best quality of chiffon fabric is silk fabric chiffon. Its magnificent impression and spectacular texture is due to certain weaving techniques. Silk chiffon: is very famous, it is a graceful, pure fabric with a soft drape, stretch and gleaming appearance.
Polyester chiffon: this type of chiffon is more versatile as it comes in a variety of stripes and patterns and is accessible in quite a lot of different weights.

Process of sewing chiffon: To sew chiffon, a piece of tissue or a paper is placed between two pieces sewn together this actually keeps the fabric together. After the stitching is completed the paper is carefully removed. Chiffon can easily be pinned up to make stitching more easy. As a general rule, the fabric must be handled with great care and should work slowly and steadily with it.
As it is believed that through cotton or silk fabric, chiffon is made of but the fact is that silk chiffon has a natural brightness due to which it stands out from other types of chiffon. This fabric is admired by all and sundry. The quality of a real silk fabric is that it will have a natural glow within it and will imitate the glow while wearing as well, so keep this point in mind while purchasing. In contrast to that the natural glow will be missing in the cotton chiffon fabric and will look dull, even the chiffon made up of rayon and synthetic fibers are also stiff and rough. So clothes made from pure silk chiffon will be comfortable and the wearer will feel easy and free. Real silk chiffon fabrics are the best option for summer clothing.
