Pakistani meals are known as the mixture of many other meals that belong from subcontinent and famous all over the world. Why these are famous is due to their spicy and delicious taste and aromatic quality. There are a lot of Pakistani dishes that are eaten by the people of Pakistan almost every part of the country. Some cuisines are very famous and become a cultural identification of Pakistan. These tasty and delicious meals are presented in the food festivals as a cultural and traditional food item of Pakistan. Simply we can say that these dishes are the Taste of Pakistan.

Saag is a traditional dish of Pakistan, the food symbol of the villages. Saag has been eaten in Pakistan with” Roti” (bread) that is prepared with corn flour have the yellowish color, this roti is known as Maki-Ki-Roti. This traditional dish is prepared with mustard and spinach leaves with the inclusion of different types of spices for enhancing the taste according to the choice. Saag can be cooked with paneer, red meat and chicken, etc. This traditional dish has a significant value in the village’s life. It is best for breakfast, lunch and dinnertime. If you want to feel the real taste of the Saag eats it with Makhan (Butter) and Lassi.

In the beginning this dish is just prepared in the villages of Pakistan, but now this delicious dish is very famous in the cities too. Saag Allo, is commonly cooked and eaten with joy in the cities, but you can prepare this dish with beef or mutton too. Chicken is also can be cooked with the Saag.

This will be true that if we include this cultural food symbol of Pakistan in the mouth-watering dish. The environment has played a vital role in any type of activity. There is a hell of difference while eating the Saag in the home on the dining table, and eating it while setting in the fields of mustard (Sarson) or in any other fields in the villages in the open sky, with the other traditional food items like Makhan (Butter) and Lassi and last but not the least the Maki-Ki- Roti.

Saag is not representing just Pakistan only in the international food festivals, but also consider a food symbol of the subcontinent.
