USAID Pakistan has adopted government-government model. Through this model the transparent implementation of projects is done by mutual understanding of national and provincial governments. To ensure the sustainable impact of each program, USAID Pakistan has involved local contractors and indigenous entities. This strategy helped to meet the local needs and priorities to increase the local capacity.

Two cross-cutting themes—good governance and gender equity—inform all program design and serve as key measurements of success. Gender equity project is started for women’s development in Pakistan as this is imperative for brighter future.
